Mum was an amazing woman who never let the persistent pain she lived with slow her down, make her miserable or stop her from living her life to the full.  Looking through the photos with dad over the last few weeks has reminded me of all the adventures she took us on and all the places that we visited as children.

It was from these excursions that my love of museums and galleries, ancient buildings, castles, beaches, forests, and wildlife grew. It is because of her that my desire to travel to see as much of the world as possible, especially heritage and wildlife, was born.
